Life in a paragraph: Outcast. Never fit in. Amid vivid memories ridicule and misunderstanding of himself and others perceptions dominate his life. Teacher. Sent to Hawaii to learn about himself for two years, he discovers he can teach. He learns how to teach people about various things, and discovers a teacher learns more than his students. Between college and deployments he continued teaching and searching for himself. Writer. During his second deployment he found the thread that tied his entire life together: Storytelling.
