As a means of coping with the horrors of her full-time job within law-enforcement, Claudia Lefeve turns to speculative fiction as her creative outlet. Refusing to bring work home, she prefers paranormal, horror, and urban fantasy genres, in lieu of writing police procedurals or mysteries (although she loves to read them). While she only minored in English (she was a poli-sci major), she does hold a Master’s in Forensic Psychology and Master’s in Criminal Justice. She hopes her knowledge of serial killers will one day lend itself one day to a great gothic horror novel.
A Texan by birth, she now resides in the suburbs of Northern Virginia with her husband and two precocious pugs.
Claudia’s short stories, featuring psychopathic teenagers and zombie prostitutes during the height of the Civil War, have been published in several horror anthologies.
