Sunday #ROW80 Check-In

As we’re closing in on the end of January, I figured I’d make some announcements.  I’m NOT going to close comments on the blog.  The majority didn’t seem to care one way or the other but a significant enough minority didn’t dig the idea that I’m not going to make that change.  I DID discover I could block pingbacks and trackbacks so that I no longer have my inbox explode with the need to approve them (thank you God–we are linked to often!), which was my personal biggest objection.

I am going to institute an occasional post announcing new releases of fellow ROWers.  All but one person supported that idea.  No idea how often, as I don’t know how often our crew has a new release, but I’ll be setting up a submission portal for that in the next little bit.  I don’t anticipate it’ll be more than a couple times a round.

Onward!  Share your trials and triumphs in your check-in post!

  1. I’m for always keeping comments on. Why cut off potential communication in any form? I don’t participate in Row80, but I do read the posts.

  2. I like the idea of announcing what ROWers have released. We support each other during the writing process. We should support each other after we publish. Ideally, we could copy and paste the list or the entire post right onto our blogs. Great exposure!! Great idea!!!
