I want to mention something this check-in that we normally don’t talk about in the ROW80. Yes, we call our challenge A Round of Words in 80 Days, but we usually focus on the writing end of that ‘word statement’. But… writing needs reading (even if it’s only writing for personal pleasure).
Some of our ROWers make a point in their check-ins to share their RIPs as well as news about their WIPs (Read and Works respectively, of course), but a lot of us don’t. That’s okay… Just wanted to say it’s awesome to hear about your favorite reads too. Or if you’ve enjoyed a new blog or found a cool article on the web, let us know. You might make someone else’s day just a bit more interesting (in a good way, I hope!) for the effort.
For your your wordly progress… here’s your Sunday check-in linky:
PS: for those who might be interested, there is a Wednesday “What Are You Reading” bloghop hosted by Sam at “A World of Words“. Participants share their reading adventures: Past, Present, and Future…
I make my book reading one of my goals, and, sometimes I share links to cool stuff. Not as much lately as I’ve wanted to, though – my focus has been elsewhere. Still, this is a good reminder that reading and writing go together. Thanks, Sys! =D
They’d feel that ever growing spiral of nifty we call our imaginations… 😀
