Round 4 Check-in 11/28/18

The usual short Wednesday check-in post….  with a question for you all.  Anyone interested in starting up sponsor posts and visits for next year?  I think the ROW80 works best when we’re checking in with each other and offering mutual support.  I know we all have busy lives, but sometimes taking that bit of extra time out to visit a fellow ROWer adds to your energy and your ability to get things done.  Knowing you were able to offer support to a friend is a strong personal boost as well.

Let me know what you think.

And as usual for this ROWnd, leave your updates in the comments or on our FB page.

  1. I like the idea of sponsor posts in theory, but the community is small these days. I’m worried it would put a lot of strain on a few. I know you know how it can be to try to come up with something when it’s just not happening, and the rest of life is clawing at the door to get it….

Unless I’m mistaken, all the old sponsor posts are here on the site. Maybe you could reblog one a week, say on Thursdays? You could work chronologically from the beginning, or by theme. I would be happy to put them up on the page and add the #TBT hashtag; it might even bring a few more new faces into the group for the new year.

Which, in turn, might make it easier to get new sponsor posts.

All that being said, I wouldn’t mind contributing one, if I can have till the end of January to write it.

And I’m all for going back to assigned sponsor numbers – if we have enough people to make it worthwhile, and a way to assign them (since we don’t have a linky anymore).
