First Check-in 2019

cred: openclipart

Well, technically, we’ve already gone a few strides past the starting gate, but it’s the beginning a of a Round of Words and who needs to rush things? 🙂

It’s only been a few days, and those included a rather big holiday for most people, so it may seem strange to have a check-in already.  But regular check-ins on Wednesdays and Sundays are a part of how we do things here at the ROW80.  Even if you feel like you got almost nothing done, sometimes the act of checking in makes you see the little steps you are taking toward achieving yours goals and dreams.  Sometimes it helps you see where you might be making a misstep.

In the land of the ROW80, Accountability is king.  Kind of like that one-eyed man… 😉

Anyway, before my bad jokes ruin this new year, new round…. leave your check-in in the comments or on our FB page, visit some fellow ROWers, and have a great couple of days.  See you all Sunday!

  1. Hi everyone, I am kind of back. I am still having health issues, but I need to get writing again, I have started a brand new blog for the occasion, which is still partly built, but I am getting there. I still have some bad days which limit what I can do. One thing I do know, I am not getting into writing for profit again. I tried, but it just wasn’t me.

I am really looking forward to hanging out with you all again,

    1. We stopped using the linky last fall when I had to be out of the country for 5 weeks and couldn’t maintain it and Denise couldn’t either. It’s worked out pretty well so far, though we may bring it back if things change. Right now, this works however.

    1. No issues with starting whenever you want, Kell. We’re flexible here at the ROW80. Maybe you can get your goals post set up and do your first check-in by Sunday? That way you’ll start the same way most everyone else did.

The point, just like writing itself, is to just do it. 🙂
