As a teen, Bev loved to write and had folder after folder of stories – from sci fi to romance to westerns. Then university and years as an elementary teacher intervened.
Teaching from the North West Territories to Alberta to Ontario was rewarding. Yes, she penned a story or two, but it wasn’t until she retired (after 30+ years as a teacher) in June 2013, that she returned to her early love. Reading and creating art also compete for her time.
Joining SCWBI, CANSCAIP and taking numerous writing courses, Bev writes in many genres and is learning every day, that the best advice is “butt in chair”.
